ETA: Many people have emailed me to ask about Flopper pictured in the post.
We saw Flopper in our yard and it was apparent he had a damaged wing from something. A bird or a praying mantis probably. He was able to fly, but not easily, flopping around. We have a butterfly garden, so he was hanging out in it.
We read on the internet that you can repair the wing by cutting the other one to match the injured one. It creates the balance they need to fly. But we couldn’t catch him. Every day we tried, but we needed a butterfly net. He was in our garden until migration time and we were concerned he would never be able to make the migration. I tried to catch him and was planning on overwintering him if I had to. One day I didn’t see him at all. Did a bird or a mantis get him? I can only hope he tried to make it down south.
Like many birds, butterflies like Flopper migrate and return to their place of birth every year, mate and create new generations in their place of birth.
We hope to see a butterfly flopping about in the spring, and if we do, we will be ready with the butterfly net to try to restore his wing. Say a prayer and send any tips you might have for us that can help him.

Reader Question: I was laid off from my job about two months ago. I am 30 years old, I am stuck. I am sleeping on my parents' couch, have no car, kind of down because my mom drinks all the time and it wears on my soul. My girlfriend moved an hour away and it has been hard on both of us. But, for some reason, we keep sticking together and my prayers get answered. I want to marry her some day and miss her terribly. It hurts when I am here because of all the negative energy. I have no other place to go because of my lack of transportation. I am having faith that God will make this happen. It is just hard on me. please help.. ~Chris

Eileen's Response: Dear Chris, According to the angels, every challenge we face is an opportunity to see how we have had responsibility in creating it, and how we may be perpetuating the challenge through current actions or in-actions. Your angels would like you to examine that and take the steps needed to emerge from the place you find yourself now.

Sometimes one of the most evolved things we can do for ourselves is come to the realization that we cannot change the negative influences from others or a situation and distance ourselves from it. As my angel Alonya always says "Love and bless them from a distance." My heart is always open to those I have had to do that with, but if our lives are to intersect again, they would have to make positive changes so that I am not submerged in their revolving negativity. As a child, you could find me rescuing them out of pools of water before I took my swim. To this day, I have never been stung. You see, we have an understanding, the bees and I.

Dec 21st is the Winter Solstice, it’s the shortest day and longest night of the year. After today, the sun slowly climbs back up to reclaim it’s full power.

Many of you probably feel the glints of happiness the holidays bring, but it can also be touched with some sadness.

I am here to support you in this time of the year that holds so much promise for us all, and yet these times can remind us of some of our shadows as well.

But if you want it to, it can bring new ways of looking at life and like the sun, you can reclaim your power. And that is reflected in the choices we make from this day forward.

Hello my Dear Readers,

We all know the old story about the Mercury Retrograde being the Bermuda Triangle of communication, paperwork and negotiations. But let me touch on what many may overlook as the blessing of a Mercury Retrograde……

And that is that it can ferret out and uncover what is broken or unseen in our lives. What needs our attention or to be fixed.

For example, during this Mercury Retrograde, it came to my attention that the Contact Form on my website has not worked for months. This means that anyone who tried to connect with me through my site during this time never received a response because we never saw their email.

I know, I know..terrible, isn’t it? My life’s work is to reach out and empower others, so you can imagine how I felt upon learning this. But this past Mercury Retrograde was a taskmaster in many ways, and it’s silver lining was that it uncovered it for me.

So rethink the Retrograde, and see it’s potential to uncover what is broken or unclear in your life.

And if you were one of those people who tried to connect with me, know that I am here for you and extend my hand for you to reach out again.

Sandalphon: Soul Purpose and Children
Sandalphon means 'one who wears sandals before the Almighty' which is fitting given his task. Archangel Sandalphon's task is to intercede for us by bridging heaven and earth. In his life on earth he was the prophet Elijah. Sandalphon works in close partnership with Metatron and also assists our beloved and mighty Archangel Michael in battling negative energies on Earth. This month we continue with the divine beings of the higher realms that deal with two subjects, money and romantic relationships that I get more requests on than any other subject. The two archangels that the Creator has given such tasks to are Archangel Ariel and Archangel Chamuel.

Archangel Ariel's name means "Lioness of God." Although angels are androgynous she is an archangel that prefers to interact with the world in a more feminine aspect. Her chief task or "job" deals with the domain and workings of Earth. This includes things such as weather, crystals, animals, manifesting, nature and nature beings. She also helps human beings develop the soul qualities of courage, focus, healing and awakening.

Archangel Michael "Make the Compassionate Choice"

Michael is referred to as the greatest of all angels in writings. He is charged with being the Protector of Earth. He will not return home to God until every being has evolved and every consciousness on the planet is returned to its perfect state.

He is the master of the First Light Ray and helps us all speak our truth. Michael energy is assertive and protective, and carries his flaming sword of power and strength, the power of it derived from love and compassion.

This month our beloved champion of Earth, Archangel Michael, teams up with Mother Mary (as they often do) for this month’s channeled message.

To be honest, there has been an urgency with the Archangel and Ascended Master’s messages lately. Including Michael’s. It’s like they are saying, “Okay people of Earth, you really have to get it now. Time to make the right choices for your life and for the world.”

But Michael and Mary tell me, the choice that is to be made is the COMPASSIONATE CHOICE. Both for yourself and in any given opportunity with any living thing in your daily life. They tell me it’s very important we do this now. As a matter of fact, they wanted me to emphasize certain words or “coined terms” in this channeled message which I’ve done by using capitalization.

For example, a friend of mine was driving to work and saw a cat hit by a car. The driver who hit it kept going, but she pulled over, saw it was still alive and called the police to get veterinary assistance for it. Yes, it made her late for her day, but she made the Compassionate Choice, and fortunately for her, the police officer made the Compassionate Choice in assisting her, and her boss made the Compassionate Choice in not only understanding, but being totally on board with, and understanding such a compassionate choice.

We all lead busy lives, but in the grand scheme of things, God’s angels tell us to think on what is truly important. Make the Compassionate Choice.

Making the Compassionate Choice for you is also important. Michael tells me that if you are having any issues with being able to give and receive love and compassion due to current or past emotions, it’s time to heal. It’s important that you do whatever you need to do to get help for it now, so you can be in your heart space more often. He says for example, if you have been thinking about seeing a counselor to receive healing, do it. Make the call.

Yes, Michael seems to want us to take ACTION now, not to mull over changing our lives for the better. Take a step, even a small one, and do it without delay.

Today's Question: About a year ago I had the most vivid dream about Archangel Michael. It occurred about two weeks after the passing of my sister-in-law (who I helped take care of). She had a very abusive relationship with her husband before he passed. Anyway, my dream centered around Archangel Michael telling me that when my sister-in-law passed she was "cocooned" and he proceeded to show me what looked similar to an egg shape structure. He allowed me to feel and rest inside. It was the most comforting and peaceful experience. My question: Was this something you have ever heard of? I do not think I just imagined the vivid imagery. P.S. I am a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, so I often do have vivid dreams. Thank you for any response. Denise

Eileen's Response: Dear Denise, From time to time I have seen a "cocoon" or similar structure to what you describe during my energy reading sessions. The ascended masters and archangels I work with place the client in the "cocoon" but it differs with each person or will change in different sessions with the same client. It is fascinating for me to see it. I have been told by my White Rose Spiritual Team that these "cocoons" are closely linked to what we call sacred geometry and the "vehicles of Light" this form of energy healing can produce. I asked Archangel Michael what these "cocoons" are and in channeling his response, he describes it this way:

Answering the Call of Windwalker the Cougar

As many of you know, I work a lot with Cougar energy and a beautiful female cougar is my power animal. The cougar energy and the cougar spirit who walks with me has inspired my art and her own crystal -flower essence.

This blog post is from my fellow writer over at About.com Holistic Healing, Rose De Dan. I found it so inspiring I wanted to share it with all of you.

This year will be my second visit to Earthfire Institute, and while there are many good friends there, I am especially looking forward to spending more time with Windwalker the cougar. Windwalker has a powerful presence and a great heart that is both awe-inspiring and humbling. His love for wildlife expert and friend Jean Simpson of Earthfire is very clear as you will see in the photos.

But Windwalker is something more—in my opinion he is a spiritual Master Teacher/Healer. And I’m not the only one who thinks so. Other workshop attendees and workshop leaders/animal communicators such as Penelope Smith and Polly Klein have expressed the same opinion.
It was that belief that caused me to offer Windwalker a Reiki attunement after the 2010 A Walk on the Wild Side event concluded.

It was an experience that had its moments of humor as well as energetic depth and spiritual connection. I thought to offer Windwalker a distance attunement using a plush stuffed animal as a surrogate. However Windwalker wanted my Tiger—big time. And he did not have spiritual intentions—Windwalker wanted a play toy—an encounter I doubted that Tiger would survive.

Once Tiger was moved out of Windwalker’s sight I again had his full attention, and I mean FULL attention. He took up a position where he was looking directly at me, into my eyes, and he barely blinked the entire time. I could feel the intensity of our connection in the energy of the attunement and it moved me deeply.

Windwalker and I have stayed in touch in the almost year since, and he makes requests of me from time to time, or offers opinions (sometimes out of the blue). Lately I have felt a very strong pull from him, and the feeling that he was going to play a larger role in the upcoming workshop.

That feeling was confirmed when I spoke with Polly Klein upon her return from her August workshop. She’d had a conversation with Windwalker where he expressed his determination to remain in his body, no matter the cost, so long as the people kept coming, for he had a mission. And his request to me was to assist him in staying in his body as long as possible (he is an elder, at least 13, and has the pains of old age). And so, Windwalker has now been added to my weekly client schedule and is also receiving daily Reiki from Debbie Noyes and myself (he has requested that others not send Reiki directly, preferring to work with only a few people, but is open to Reiki and prayers for the situation).

Not long after, Diane Stringfellow signed up for the 2011 A Walk on the Wild Side: Answering the Call of the Wild at Earthfire and shared her experiences with Windwalker.
I was so moved by the synchronicity of experiences and Windwalker’s desire that I asked Diane if she would be willing to be interviewed, and she gladly agreed, feeling that it was important (as I did) to get Windwalker’s call to the people out.

And so, I present a transcript of our interview which I hope you will share with others. Read or listen to the recording and learn how one person heard and responded to Windwalker’s Call.

This is Rose De Dan, and I’m talking to Diane Stringfellow about her experiences at Earthfire Institute with a cougar named Windwalker.
Hi Diane, how you doing?
Diane: I’m good, Rose, thank you.
Rose: First, I’m curious, what drew you to Earthfire Institute in the first place?
Diane: Well, it was kind of odd, actually for me, I’m a very kind of practical person, and I was looking at not working for a year, and was starting that process last fall/spring. My daughter had gone to a psychic and she kept encouraging me to go see this woman, she thought it would be fun and interesting. So I went and saw this woman, and during the session she said that they (the people on the other side) were telling her that I needed to check out Earthfire Institute, and I asked her what was that and she said, “I have no idea, this is what they are telling me that you need to do.” And I kind of went, ‘Okay, yeah right.’

And I came home and I Googled Earthfire Institute and there really was a place. I mean it was like there really was this place. And the hair stood up on the back of my neck—I just could not believe that there really was this place. So I started looking at the 2011 programs and they weren’t posted yet, but I actually saw yours from last year and I was really drawn to it. And so I kept checking, waiting for the calendar for 2011 to come up and eventually I phoned and spoke to Linda the office manager there. She was telling me about the various programs, and I was really drawn to do yours but it wasn’t until the fall. I was going to be stopping work mid-May and wanted to kind of do a trip and go to Earthfire.
So I signed up for the Heart-to-Heart with Susan and Jean, and I started off on my road trip, went down the coast of the States, up through desert up to Driggs, Idaho.

I ended up kind of building this whole kind of journey, this kind of walkabout around ending up at Earthfire, right? But I really wasn’t clear. I was attracted, I’ve always had a really strong relationship with animals, probably more so than people. I’m more comfortable with animals than people. I was inspired by what was happening at Earthfire and I wanted to go see that, but that was as much as I knew at that point. So that took me to Earthfire in the middle of June.
Rose: And so, I understand you had a powerful experience with one of the resident Animal Teachers there. What was your experience meeting Windwalker like?

Diane: Windwalker? Oh, it was profound! We went up to his compound, and he was laying up on top of his house, or den, or whatever the right word is for that. And he kept calling to Jean, he really wanted Jean to go in, and Jean had a different idea of how the day was going to look, so he really didn’t want to go in, but Windwalker was really persistent.
Finally Jean went in, and he went up to Windwalker and Windwalker reached out his paw and touched Jean’s face. The love and reverence in that touch, I mean I just (I’m going to cry again)…I just lost it, I just started crying. The beauty of his spirit, of Windwalker’s spirit, was just, I mean it just…I don’t even have words for it! It was like this profound, energetic emotional connection that I had with Windwalker, I mean it wasn’t about words it was about something much different than that. I realized in that moment that it was Windwalker that had called me to be at Earthfire. It was really clear to me but I was kind of just reeling.

We were there with him for a while, and Jean was in with him for a while, and then I look up at Jean and said, ‘Hi, can I just have a hug?’ I mean I was trying to get grounded, I mean it just knocked me over, you know?
And I’m usually pretty stoic—part of me was embarrassed that I was bawling my eyes out next to Windwalker there. But I mean he’s just…Windwalker’s amazing. He’s just this wonderful old soul. You know, I think that he’s a healer. Kind of what’s come through to me later—it took kind of a while for me to kind of find words for that. I think he’s a healer, I think he calls people to be awake, that he calls people to be in a circle. Yes, my time at Earthfire, my time with Windwalker—all the animals were really special but he was kind of the big piece on the end of an amazing few days that I spent there.
Rose: Yeah, it is a really incredible place.
Diane: Kind of in hindsight it was like the redwoods called me. When I was standing in the redwoods on the coast there, I realized that these trees had called me. And then when I was in the desert it was the same thing; I realized that the desert had called me, and I’ve never had a lot of interest in the desert. So it was really interesting that there were all these pieces, including Windwalker, that kind of called me on this, this journey that I did.
Rose: Yes, indeed.
Diane: So after the workshop it was kind of like Windwalker kept kind of saying, ‘Well, you’ve got to come back—you’ve got to come back in September.’ And I went, ‘Well, I’m not sure the money’s going to last…you know there’s other things that I’m going to be doing.’ I mean you, know, all those justifications that we make.
Rose: Mmm-hmm (agreeing)
Diane: And then the other week —it was actually Sunday night (Sept. 21)—I was almost asleep, and I saw these paws, and I instantly knew that they were Windwalker’s. And then his face came into view and it was like he filled my bedroom—he was there, he was there with me. And he said, ‘You have to come back. I’ve been calling and you’re not listening. You have to come back.’ And I said, “Well, why?’ And he said, ‘Well, you need to be in ceremony with Rose, you need to come and meet Rose. You need to be in ceremony with her.’ And I said, ‘Well, why?’ And he said, ‘Well, that will be revealed when you get here.’

But I mean, like his presence, his presence was like…I mean it was just amazing. I mean there was no doubt, it was just absolutely no matter what I have to go back to Earthfire. So I actually went online and booked your seminar, your workshop.
Rose: A Walk on the Wild Side
Diane: Yes, that’s right.
Rose: And the subtext on that one is Answering the Call of the Wild and it certainly sounds like that’s what you’re doing by answering Windwalker’s call.
And I would definitely agree, I too believe that he is a Master Teacher/Healer, but his time is growing short, and so this call may be his last. We don’t know.
Diane: I think that’s true, I think that’s true. I hope not.
Rose: I hope not, too. We will sit in dialogue and ceremony with him once again and we’re planning on building the ceremony, as much as we can, involving him, around him, with him—he’ll be a central focal point.
Diane: The purity of his spirit, to have been in an enclosure for most of his life. I don’t know if somebody locked me in a bathroom if I could maintain that kind of generous spirit that he has. Not that I am faulting Earthfire in any way, because he is where he is because that is what needed to happen for him.
Rose: And Jean treats him really well, they do treat him really well. He does get to come out for walks with Jean and that is really a sight to see.
Diane: I know that but you know what I am saying? I was just struck by the beauty of his spirit, you know?
Rose: I know—you won’t get any argument from me. I’ve got my own stories to tell about Windwalker, which I’ll probably talk about in the article that I’ll be writing.
Diane: Oh, that will be wonderful!
Rose: So, thank you. It is my understanding that you have not had many psychic or visionary experiences prior to this?
Diane: Truthfully, there’s always been times in my life at different times where there’s been inspiration kind of from the universe. But I’m a very practical, pragmatic kind of person in the world. So I tend to go okay, yeah, that’s interesting, but…So it’s interesting that this came through loudly enough that there was no ignoring it. And it’s still amazing to me that I found Earthfire based on going and seeing a psychic. That this woman was telling me about this place—she did not even know what she was telling me about. She said, ‘I have no idea, this is what they are telling me.’
And that was Windwalker. I think that was Windwalker putting it out to the universe on behalf of Earthfire or his own need, whatever that is. Sorry, to sound vague but I don’t have a lot of words, it is like this feeling, this energetic feeling as opposed to something I have words for.
Rose: (laughs) I understand. So, I look forward to meeting you in person and sharing that time together with Windwalker, and of course Susan and Jean and all the other animals at Earthfire—it’s coming up soon!
Diane: I know, it’s going to be wonderful to be back, yes, absolutely.
Rose: Thank you, Diane, and I’ll be seeing you soon!

Angels Are Not Short Order Cooks

Free Advice from Angel Intuitive, Eileen Smith Today Eileen responds to two people who are concerned their prayers are not being heard or answered.

Adam asks: "Do I have guardian angels, if so do they hear my prayers?"
Roxana asks: "Because of some problems that I have had from a long time, I feel desperate. I've prayed a lot, but... it seems like my prayers are never listened to or answered. Instead of feeling some comfort and hope, I've started to think that probably God just hates me for some reason (I don't know, maybe I am too bad or is something wrong with me and that's why He rejects me... I know, it sounds crazy, but that's the way I'm feeling). So, the question is: Does God care, accept, and help all of us?

Eileen's Response: One of the most common questions I receive is about angels answering our prayers. 8 out of the 10 emails I receive ask the question "Are they listening to me? Have I done something wrong? Why are my prayers not answered?" Many people are under the false misconception that we need to do or say the correct words or do a ritual to have prayers answered, and if they are not, the angels are disapproving of them in some way, or worse, that they are forgotten and alone, that the angels have left them. Neither of which holds any truth in the angelic realm.

Recent information and media suggest a sort of "recipe" for prayers, and manifesting desires. While a positive attitude and maintaining positive words is very important and certainly beneficial, the idea that saying something a certain way will bring you exactly what you want, and when you want it, is a confusing concept to many of my clients. When it doesn't happen, they think they "did it wrong" or there is something wrong with them and the Universe and the angels disapprove of them.

The honest truth is, angels are not short order cooks. Many times we get what we need, not what we want. Everything happens to us within Divine Timing. Let's explore this more in-depth, with the information the angels are giving me about this issue for many people on Earth. Read More...

Yes, You Can Meditate, Just Find Your Style

How can I be more psychic?
Meditate.
How can I hear my angels and guides better?
Meditate.
How can do I know I’m making the right choice?
Meditate.
How can I heal my past and boost my self esteem?
Meditate.
How do I ____________?
Meditate.

Throughout my experience as a teacher and healer, one of the answers to many of life’s questions and goals can be found in meditation. And invariably, one of the answers I receive back is that people don’t know how to, or can’t meditate.

Meditation is one of the major keys to probably everything we would like to create in out life. People want the quick, the easy. But meditation can be both of those things once you throw out the “shoulds” in your expectations of it and find out what works for you. I think a large part of the reason people don’t meditate is the misconception of what it is. Many people have the misconception that you must set aside long periods of time in order for it to be beneficial.

Many have visions of a person sitting in a sparse monk like room, in the lotus position with empty minds. For most of us in this modern world, this is a rarely attainable situation and certainly hard to incorporate into a daily regime. Effective meditation is, and will be different for each person.

It is has been said, “Prayer is talking to God, meditation is listening to God”, and I would agree with that. Keeping that in mind, whichever way creates a space within your day, within your being that allows you to achieve that state of focus, is meditation and is effective. Even if for only 5 minutes. Do what you can! If you can’t do it everyday, it’s okay. So many people feel guilt if they don’t mediate, the “all or nothing” approach and create unrealistic expectations for it to be a part of their life.

Also remember everyone is wired differently. Don’t compare yourself to others in regards to meditation. For example, some people need quiet to meditate; some people need the room to be dark. Others like the sun, others need music. What brings you to a higher space? To YOUR particular sacred place inside your head?

For example, it is easier for me to meditate with music, but when I first began meditating, I learned to do so with guided tapes.Some people have trouble visualizing, others have trouble with the intruding thoughts. If your not visual, that is okay, allow a sense of what the guided journey is taking you, If your mind won’t stop thinking about the tasks and conversations that are in your day, hearing someone else’s voice in a guided meditation may help you.

The voice inside your head that keeps thinking about the phone calls you need to make, we all have it. Some of my students find it helpful if you acknowledge it, let it know you received the message and will remember it later, it can quiet it. Or keep a piece of paper nearby and write down the message the voice wants you to hear so you can go back to meditating.

Keep in mind that walking and other activities that are rhythmic and healthful can create a meditative place within you. Swimming, dancing, walking. I have had some of my best “listening to Spirit” meditative moments walking in nature, it renews me in body, mind and spirit.Yoga is also meditative for people. Part of it’s life changing effects for those who do it often is this meditative state it creates.

So you see, it simply is a matter of finding what works for you. Throw away the false assumptions, comparisons and expectations. Don’t be hard on yourself, enjoy it.

“Little feathers seem to find me. Are these from the angels?”

Yes! In my experience, feathers can also be from animal spirit guides if the animal guides are birds and your working with your animal spirit guides. Other than that, little feathers are a sign from your angels that they see you, hear you and they love you.

Let me tell you a little story, when I was learning about angels from Doreen Virtue, the class took a break and I walked off on my own, pondering the fact I had traveled thousands of miles to be there, and what it would bring to my life.If this is what God wanted me to do in life, was it part of my mission on Earth? Was this it?

Just then a little white feather came floating down, just like it did in the beginning and the end of the movie “Forrest Gump” and it landed right at my feet. Not four feet away, but drifted right to me. To me, that was the angels letting me know they were overseeing this part of my life and that I was being divinely guided and blessed.

So yes, the feather is a sign from the angels in response to a question, a thought or an emotion. It’s their way of saying, you are loved and being guided through this by the angelic realm. I still have that little feather.

Who is Archangel Haniel?

Haniel’s name means ‘Glory of God’.

Haniel governs the ancient magics of healing and feminine power, and the energy of the Moon.

Haniel meaning “Glory of God” governs the ancient magic of healing, feminine power, and the energy of the Moon. Not many are familiar with this incredible being. Although archangels are androgynous they do project male or female energy so that people on Earth can more easily identify with them. Haniel most often appears as female.

As I channeled Haniel she felt very wise and also possessed great humor. If human, I could see her as a rock star or on a motorcycle. What a joy it was to connect with her very refreshing, earthy energy.

Here is Archangel Haniel’s message for you:

“Are you very tired lately, cranky, impatient, aching, not remembering names, dropping things, not exactly the epitome of Grace?

I am here to tell you that you are processing through your sacred feminine side, the ascension of your planet. However, you are also processing the chaotic energy that is occurring now. I know you feel it. You may not have been able to pinpoint precisely why but you know that you have been a little off.

You live in the fastest, busiest time ever seen on your planet. You have been trying to keep up with a pace that your body and mind were never meant to keep up with. Your spirit however, is more than up for this task.

Now is the time to deepen into the feminine wisdom that all of you carry, whether male or female. Now is the time to go within, to nurture yourself as if you were pregnant, because you are. You are holding a space within for greater Light to manifest upon Earth. It can feel physically and emotionally uncomfortable. You will handle it better by being in quiet, restorative places and doing restorative things for your body, mind and spirit.

Your body has a denser vibration than your spirit and needs assistance. Restorative sleep is very helpful. Your ancient DNA knows the way. Follow natures calling by retiring a few hours after night fall and rise just after sunrise. Even one hour earlier to bed will assist you.

Be very conscious with water now. Remember to thank and bless it for its good work in your body. Do whatever you can to help the Earth’s water. Her water is her life blood; it is your life blood as well. Think of the veins and arteries running through your body; now think of all of her various waterways. You mirror each other. Use her waters to wash away the harsh energies occurring now, while blessing and thanking her for her gifts to you. The Earth's health and your health are one and the same. She needs your help just as you need hers.

Honor the feeling you have had of wanting to retreat from the hectic pace, not being as sociable, not talking on the phone even if people don’t understand. You have a responsibility now to honor your needs for greater health and balance.

Perhaps many of you are so accustomed to ignoring this need that you don’t even know it’s there. To remedy this, your soul, mind and body try to get your attention through discomfort often with unclear thinking and emotions that seem high, then low, and all over the place.

What is an Angel Reading? How to Get the Most Out of It.

Although angel advisors are blessed with intuitive gifts, a session with a angel advisor is a different experience than other readings you may have experienced before. An example of a different experience than other readings you may have experienced before. An example of the difference I like to give is that with a psychic reading, you want to know if you will win a court case. In an angel reading, the angels want to discuss what your creating in your life, in the choices in life that has you going to court in the first place!

The ANGEL THERAPY PRACTITIONER® (ATP®) is receiving the love and wisdom from angels and high level guides and masters, Universal Laws are in play. For example, angels will never tell you what to do. They can suggest a course of action that can bring about the highest good, but will never tell you, step by step, what to do. In my experience, they usually give the client several different ways they can approach a situation. They tell me this is because the Human Free Will can decide to switch things around so quickly, that there are many possibilities floating out there waiting to manifest, many roads the person can take.

Read on to find out how you can become a more active participant in your angel readings with your advisor and get the most out of your time with us.

Why Are Time Lines Hard to Predict?
Some people may wonder that if we are speaking with angels, why we cannot get time lines clearly. There are several reasons come into play.

Although the angels can see ahead much farther than we can comprehend, we as advisors are in our human bodies and have to work through that heavy density instrument. For example, picture how a radio receives what you hear. the angel who is sending very clear radio waves of information through the air , down the the antenna, to the angel advisor who is the radio. Maybe that day the radio or the antenna on that radio is having to contend with other electromagnetic waves around it or other interferences. I think we have all had the experience of listening to the radio in a car and at a certain time of day, or in certain weather it has a lot of static, or we the signal becomes weak. It's similar to that. So although the information comes in clear fro your angels, the radio gets only part of the story. It's just part of our experience on Earth if your an intuitive.

If advisors are talking to angels, why aren't they always right?
Angels help us create a better reality here on Earth. Our angels and guides help us, support us but we have to do the work. They can only suggest a better approach, a higher perspective and it's up to us to act on this higher wisdom we receive from them. And because we are human, sometimes we don't. Because of that outcomes and time lines are sometimes blurred.

My master guide and angel Alonya describes it like this:
“Think of all the possibilities of a humans life as a night's sky. All those stars are possibilities. If the human decides to forgive or heal one of those stars becomes brighter If they wake up the next day and become angry again and decide not to let go and harbor old resentments, different stars becomes brighter and closer and the ones from yesterday recede and become dimmer. Humans are complicated because life on Earth is complicated and they always switching things up, changing directions. This is why we can only offer “possibilities”, or at best, the most likely possibility according to current circumstances”

If your connecting to your angels and open to their love and wisdom, most of the time an Angel Reading will act as a confirmation on the nudges, feelings or intuitive hits you have been already getting. I remember hearing once from someone on TV that if a "psychic " is 50 % right, they are very good., and an 80% accuracy and they are incredible. So that leaves a lot of room for answers that may not hit the mark. Why is that? Several reasons . Sometimes it is the way the client asks a question. Sometimes the client themselves may be blocked.
ATP® Tatiana Scavnicky offers; “Sometimes we are not supposed to know exactly how and when things are going to happen so we can experience life and the process of those things coming into reality.”

Angels Need Permission Too
Another thing I have learned from the angels and guides is that they won't delve into a clients life lesson unless given permission to. The angels tell me they know of details about a person's soul and their life plan, but they are bound by the laws of the Universe and they receive the message your ready to work on a lesson or area of growth when you ask them about it or ask for healing with it. It's as if you give the angel advisor and the angels the okay to open a door that contains that particular information.

Sometimes a client will want to know what someone else is feeling, thinking. I have found that the angels will be very vague on a question like that. The reasons are because that question is asked without the permission to reveal and delve into the soul of another. Angels won't do that either. They respect the path and privacy of another. They can give some information as it directly relates to the client, but they will not go further than that. They say the reading is about the client, and their heart, their path and that is the focus.

Talk to Your Angels!
One thing I have notice over the years is that the clients who talk to their angels often and connect with them by meditating or praying have the angels that I can hear the loudest. Their answers to the clients questions come through loud and clear. Sometimes they are giving me so much information I have to ask them to let me catch up! So, I highly recommend that while you ask an angel advisor to connect with your angels, you may also wish to do this on a daily basis. It will create healing in your life and also make for more powerful readings.

"Testing" Your Advisor:
Testing an advisor is effectively blocking them at the same time. I think most advisors can feel within the first few seconds when we are in session with a client who is blocking the energy between us. This can take place in the form of asking a very general and vague question because you want to see how psychic the advisor is by having them figure out what the issue is. I call this having to "dig." For me, it actually feels like an big thick wall of energy between me and the client. It's very hard to read for clients like this because part of our process is connecting to your heart and your energy to connect with your personal angels and guides.

It's like trying to make a phone call but the phone company has disrupted the call. Many times I am working to dissolve that wall but by the time the energy begins to become harmonious, the call is going t end. Such a waste of healing time that could have been better spent getting all the answers needed! Also, although all the angel advisors are very intuitive, our way of reading comes through differently. We are healers. We help facilitate the conversation between you and your angels. We need your active participation.

I always suggest that clients not ask general questions but act as if they are asking their angels the very thing they want clarity or healing with. This makes for a much more detailed and healing session and won't waste your precious minutes together.
ATP® Radleigh Valentine's humorous, direct and very wise advice in his article here says:
“I would tell my friend that a good reading is one that helps us either confirm or change the course our life is on in order to bring us peace, joy, or both."
"When I think back on it, the readings that I have given to people that I am most proud of are not the ones where I recanted for them specific details I couldn’t have known. The readings that I am the most proud of are the ones that made a difference for the client. It’s the messages that I was able to deliver whereby they could make changes in their lives that really mattered that make what I do fulfilling. Those were good readings.”

Some suggestions on how to prepare for your Angel Reading:
Before you pick up the phone, focusing on the areas of your life in which you are seeking guidance, clarity, or healing. Make a list of questions. Angels deliver their answers from the general to the specific. The more specific you are in your questions, the more the Angels can zero in on the concerns you have.

Then call out to your Angels and guides to join you on the phone call. Ask that they remove any energetic walls you may have that could interfere with the reading and also ask that they speak loudly and clearly to the advisor.

Not that long ago, I had a phone client who was holding a crystal during her reading. I didn't know this but her angels did and showed me this through clairvoyance and wanted to talk about it. The client was using a crystal to help boost the healing and the messages she received session and also assist the session so the angelic messages were clear and accurate. Anything a client can do to boost the vibration of a session on their end will result in a wonderful exchange.

Simply taking a breathe and saying a prayer or simply saying “Angels, please remove anything and everything that may block me from hearing and feeling your wisdom and loving guidance through my angel advisor” can amp up a session dramatically.

Remember that when you call, you and I are working with your angels for your highest good, and that requires your full participation in the process.

What is the difference between a "Psychic Readings" and Angel Readings?
Working with angels, clients are finding they can finally move forward and take necessary steps to a more fulfilling life. A fellow ATP® Cindy Eyler wrote it best here:
"Psychic readings are usually based on facts, events, time lines, predictions, etc. Angel readings are spiritual messages from the angels, ascended masters, and guides that help people receive divine guidance on how to live more according to their higher purpose, to be true to themselves.

When dealing with the "when" and/or "time" issues, it is important to point out that the "when" and/or "time" factor depends on how much effort a person is willing to put into achieving the guided outcome, and how big the changes have to be to create the outcome. Keeping in mind, everyone has their own FREE WILL and the choices made by an individual will affect the outcome of the situation."

Example Questions: What is the name of my soul mate? What will my father leave me when he passes away? What is Julie doing when she isn't with me?

There is nothing wrong with some of these questions, however, the direct question will not be the focus. The focus will be on why the clients hasn't yet attracted or resolved an issue, and what the client has to work on in moving forward in receiving the results they desire. It isn't always about the "when and how" but also the client's participation in the "why" it hasn't happened yet! Sometimes people just want to know the answers to questions, a quick fix, however, they are not always willing to work on the core issues that keep them from bringing to themselves, for example a "soul mate."

The angels feel it is important that we all begin to look within and deal with blocks we have taken on that are standing in the way of living life to its fullest. Once the blocks are identified all other areas seem to begin falling into place - thus, the "soul mate" comes into view.
ATP® Brigida states;
“I find that Angel readings are not so much about I see you are getting a luxury car in the future or even predictions. I feel the angels want to us to do angel readings as information on how that person can move forward on their spiritual journey. We are teachers. That is why clients come back for more learning about opening themselves up to the possibilities for the future. The angels connect with Advisors so that we continue to educate those we come in contact with To give them their personal message to continue to move forward in life and on their own spiritual journey, and then to be able to teach others to do the same.

Fibromyalgia: A Message To You?

From what I have learned from my experience over the years is that energetically, I believe that those who suffer this, are still “holding” pain, which over time, has manifested in fibromyalgia. To discover and release emotional or physical trauma is still stored in the tissues is important.

In my training as an Intuitive Healer, Past Life Therapist and energy worker, we believe that when we are experiencing pain or disease, it is a message from our body. You see, when we experience difficult life changes, loss, or emotions that are left ignored for years, Spirit can then filter down to the physical body, because then you can’t ignore the messages. Perhaps the last resort of your spiritual/emotional/physical/mental body’s request for change, or for you to look deeper at certain issues and patterns of living, patterns of thought, etc. It wants to heal, to move you forward, make changes, and this may be its way of telling you so. I feel that Fibromyalgia is what happens when you ignore these messages, ignore the need for healing, for clearing and self-care.

Fibromyalgia is trying to tell you to nurture yourself. To stop letting your energy drain from you to others, or to some other situation. To give to yourself and not keep giving yourself away. Whether that be to a person, job or negative way of being or thinking. To let go of past wounds, or to look at them if you have not, so that they can be brought to the surfaced, healed cleared and let go. Because whether you realize it or not, your cellular body, the cells within your physical body are carrying your memories too. If these wounds are not cleared from them, the negative emotions create disease and syndromes, like Fibromyalgia.

The first thing to understand is from an energy healer’s point of view is that Fibromyalgia is not just a physical problem, to us, it is a mental and emotional one as well. In my healing practice, I have always said Fibromyalgia, and its usual partners, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, is a many-headed Hydra. There are usually several components that came together at one time to trigger this syndrome, including imbalances in the body that require treatment. This is why medicine, bodywork and therapy is going to be a critical part of the healing process for the person with Fibromyalgia.

Energetically, I have always viewed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as the body-mind doing something it doesn’t want to do, forced to do or unhappy doing, but doing it anyway and usually for a long time. Over time, the body says, “Okay, you haven’t listened to me, so I’m not doing this anymore. In fact, I’m not doing anything until you figure out a better life for us.”

From what I have learned from my experience over the years is that energetically, I believe that those who suffer “Fibro” are still “holding” their pain, and quite often, negativity, which over time has manifested into fibromyalgia. So, along with your prescribed treatments, to release negative thinking and emotional or physical trauma still stored in the tissues is very important. One can do this many ways, such as Somatic bodywork, Past Life Therapy, traditional counseling, Reiki, Guided Music imagery, integrated massage therapy, Biofeedback,etc. Searching out what works, which can take a lot of trail and error. Every person is different and what works for others may not be what works for them.

When we are experiencing pain or disease, it is a message from our body.When left ignored for years, Spirit will then put them within the physical body, because it is known that you cannot ignore those messages. So consider it the final straw, the last resort of your bodymind’s (and your Higher Self) request for change, or for you to look deeper at certain issues and patterns of living, patterns of thought, you have held onto that don’t work to harmonize and balance you, that create homeostasis. It wants to heal, to move you forward, make changes, and this is it’s way of telling you so. It is saying “Now you have to listen to me!”

For energy healers, we believe illness begins in another time and place. In my opinion, Fibro was born in an emotion somewhere back in time, and it’s stuck. In my experience, some people with Fibro begin to identify with it, it becomes who they are and a pay off begins to emerge. A pay off to being unwell. Be careful with that. In my experience it is the biggest block to healing. I have seen people finally find something that will make them well, or the core to the issue, and they turn away from it. There is something in not being well that they want to keep and not let go. It can be financial, having someone taking care of us, attention from others, etc. That’s a hard thing to admit to oneself.

So, we also have to find out the emotional reasons why we are sick and then commit to healing, to have the courage to dig in that dirt and change our lives. Most Fibromyalgia sufferers are caretakers, givers in life. The people who won’t, or can’t, say “no”. Those who have not yet discovered the lesson of “Healthy Selfishness”. The message, as my guide Alonya has said; ” that if you have not filled your own cup, and it becomes empty, no one can drink from it, not even yourself. And what may be left within it, is not as powerful as what could be contained within, if it was full.” She has also said, and very wisely “Self knowledge is the key to the doorway of recovery.”
